Lisa (my sister and executive assistant) calls me at the showroom to tell me U.S. customs has just cleared our snake print–embossed garments and accessories from testing to ensure no endangered reptiles were harmed. Hopefully they’ll be delivered before we have to leave tonight. Note to self: Do not write the word “snakeskin” on any customs documents.
