While music lovers were busy flocking to one of the August long weekend’s many festivals (see: OVOOsheaga and Lollapalooza), the 48th annual Caribana Festival took to the streets of Toronto for one helluva colourful celebration of Caribbean culture and scantily clad costumes. This year, photographer Becca Lemire captured the kaleidoscopic action from the sidelines including some serious face jewels, braids, feathered headdresses (the legit kind) and of course, crop tops.
