Gigi Hadid returns as the face of Guess for Spring 2015

If the name Gigi Hadid seems like one that’s only reached its peak in the last few months, it may surprise you to know that she’s been a Guess Girl for over 15 years. It sure surprised us. The 19-year-old model and Real Housewives of Beverley Hills spawn (she’s the daughter of Housewives regular Yolanda Foster) was a child model for the brand, after being discovered at the age of 2 and has quickly become one of Instagram‘s It girls, alongside her jetsetting BFFs Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner. Today, she’s the one and only face of Guess for Spring 2015, in a campaign that’s typically cast with a bevvy of blondes.
“This may be my favorite campaign yet. The collection is so effortless to wear, and fits perfectly in any summer environment,” said Hadid via press release. “I couldn’t think of a better place to shoot the campaign then where we did—on the beaches of my hometown in Malibu! So fitting.”
Dressed in an array of the season’s feminine and sensual pieces including white crochet maxi dresses, flowy blouses, floral blazers (sans bra), David Bellemere photographed the long-time Guess Girl embodying the free-spirited/bohemian theme of the collection. With the sunset and ocean as the backdrop, the series of ads has us already counting down to the hotter, summer days.
