How to Spring Transition Your Wardrobe, Regardless of the Temperature

How do you transition into spring without sacrificing warmth?

Warmer weather is finally here! Well, kind of. Not here here but sometimes it pokes its head out to say hello. March is always neither hit or miss when it comes to weather; it just exists in limbo, treating us to sometimes cold-ish days, and sometimes warm-ish days. So what does that mean for our wardrobes? It’s time to start slowly incorporating lighter, brighter pieces into your look, without forgoing sweaters and coats because it’s definitely not warm enough to skip your top layer(s). Watch three stylish bloggers show off how they transition into spring without sacrificing warmth or style.

When I see a glimpse of spring during the month of March, my excitement definitely seeps through my outfits. I personally love to inject bright and lovely colours to my outfits as a statement when spring arrives, but in order to stay warm through those chilly mornings and evenings, I still keep thick and cozy material pieces such as sweaters and wool jackets around.

I’m a firm believer in layering for any season of the year, especially when transitioning into spring. Given that the weather is still quite chilly, I’ve been pairing my white fur coat with cropped pants. The white fur gives a fresh spring layer, while keeping me warm. The cropped pants in the soft pink tone are feminine and perfect for this season.

While it’s finally warming up, some light layering is very much needed and I’m kind of loving this wardrobe item as the perfect transitional piece for spring. Throw it over a blouse or light sweater with some skinny pants/jeans for the go-to casual look. This vest is so versatile, you can also wear it over a pencil skirt or bodycon dress!
