My mind has been on the jean jacket lately. I’ve interested in purchasing a new one for spring but didn’t want the traditional button-up style. Then I spotted this one at Roots. It’s longer, almost to the knee, and although it’s denim it features a quilted pattern up close. Versatile in casual and dressy settings, this take on denim is my version of fresh for spring.

Recently I threw on a pair of jeans under a dress to attend an event with the intentions of removing them upon arrival, but then liked to the look, and so I kept them on. So if it’s too cold to wear your favorite dress simply toss on some jeans, and call it a day.
