Julia Restoin Roitfeld by the numbers: Inside the mind (and closet!) of Square One’s new muse

Julia Restoin Roitfeld, daughter of Carine Roitfeld (ex-editor-in-chief of French Vogue) and Christian Restoin (founder of French label Equipment), knows a thing or two about style. A model, interior designer, creative director and mom (she has a three-year-old daughter named Romy), her latest project is a lifestyle blog called Romy & The Bunnies. We talked numbers with the 34-year-old talent when she was in Toronto this past June to shoot the fall campaign for Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga, Ont.

Alarm goes off at 6:45am.
“I wake up, get my daughter dressed, have breakfast and coffee, and take her to school. Then it’s straight to the gym or the office.”

10 beauty products.
“I love face and body oils. For makeup, I’m using a Chanel blush, Bobbi Brown concealer and any lipgloss I can find.”

15 pieces in her closet are borrowed from her mother.
“My favourites are an old Alaia dress and vintage Yves Saint Laurent.”

2 haircuts a year.
“I ask for a trim when I’m on set, but last time I did it myself.”

6 pairs of jeans.
“I like Frame Denim and J Brand jeans.”

“I only wear Bonpoint and Serge Lutens Fleurs d’oranger, but many were gifts and look beautiful in my bathroom.”

Maximum shoe budget is $1,000.
“That’s the maximum I’d spend on a luxury pair like Jimmy Choo.”

“I was gifted one Rolex for my 18th birthday and one was my grandmother’s.”
