Remember all that I mentioned about keeping things status quo for Fall 2015? Well, forget it, because today’s roundup is all about the new—new designers, new hair, new labels to watch… you get the picture. Fashion’s always changing things up on the drop of a hat, and here we recount the newest, most exciting things out of Paris Fashion Week thus far:

New hair
Twitter was a flutter over the double platinum news at today’s Balmain show. Too bad it had nothing to do with the actual clothes, but rather, both Kim Kardashian and Jared Leto, who debuted bleached blonde hair in front row. Who wore it best?

New designers
I was pretty gutted when I found out that Guillaume Henry would be leaving Carven for Nina Ricci, but yesterday’s debut of new designers Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud (both previously of Givenchy) was really impressive. Keeping true to the Carven cool girl so expertly molded by Henry, the new team taught her to wear pants, quite literally, with high-waisted lilac trousers featured in one of the first looks. Oversized leather trench coats, Japonaise floral brocades and Solange in the front row—it’s a brave new world!

The new LBD
Roland Mouret is known for his perfect one-piecers, which he freshened up with his latest collection of citrus-hued, loose(er)-fitting skirts, dresses and ultra-cool moto jackets for It girls of all ages.

New label to watch
Vetements has only been around for a few seasons, but it’s picking up steam for its oversized coats (literally—the sleeves were longer than some models’ arms) and cool kid aesthetic.

The new GOT

Fans of Game of Thrones would be pleasantly surprised that according to Manish Arora, the show’s mythic warriors are now technicolour ravers. The designer used the show as his jumping off point for Fall 2015, which then got gilded, encrusted and embellished about a thousand times over.
