Bonjour, mes amis! Paris Fashion Week has officially kicked off and the who’s who of the fashion industry are in the City of Lights for the home stretch of the Fall 2015 shows. While the main attractions may be inside the shows, we know that street style is just as worthy of our attention.

With Paris being a little chillier than Milan, it seems like many of the street style stars are bundling up in some serious statement outerwear. While warmth is definitely a priority when it comes to the street style game, standing out from the crowd is obviously just as important. Bold colours and loud prints made appearances, of course, but it was the fun, textured looks that got us oohing and ahhing. Fringe may be a Spring 2015 trend, but show attendees effortlessly worked the look into their winter wear, proving it’s a trend that can be worn all year long. A fringe, suede jacket is definitely the fail-proof way to go, but we spied a few show attendees that took it to the next level by rocking the trend in colourful alternatives.

From editors like Grace Coddington and Miroslava Duma to street style mavens Anna Dello Russo and Margaret Zhang, we tracked down 25 of our favourite looks from the first day of Paris Fashion Week.
