Street Style, Calgary Stampede: 29 beautiful shots from the annual throwdown
While those of those on the east coast were trying our best to keep out of the humidity, Alberta’s fest-ready were embracing the sunny kickoff of the annual Calgary Stampede. The 103-year-old tradition brings together an eclectic mix of Native, western and Canadian traditions making it a natural spotting zone for great street style.
This year, we teamed up with the folks at Free People to capture the most stylish moments from the Calgary Stampede. From lace dresses paired with vintage boots to distressed denim mixed with plaid, this year’s Stampede was a perfect destination for catching smokin’ street style snaps. Beauty wise, loose waves and braids were a favourite among Stampede goers, and cool sunglasses made a statement in almost every outfit- completing the laid back summer vibe.
