Forget about driving in it. For the fashion elite, even just walking in cold and snowy conditions present unique and worrisome attire challenges. So you’d think temperatures in the negative 20s would be less than ideal street style conditions at New York Fashion Week Fall 2016, right? Nope, you’d never know it was cold from the fashion week devotees outside the shows. Suffice to say looking presentable and (pardon the pun) cool must have trumped all. So while there are plenty of stylish puffer coats, hats and furs, you’ll also spot sheer tights and bare shoulders. Brrrrrr! This is when your Uber or cabbie must double as best friend and front hallway closet.
