While fashion observers debate the viability of traditional runway presentations happening around the world right now, Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*) will not be deterred. The little show that could closed out its fourth edition last week at College Park with an evening of shows by the likes of  3.ParadisCaffrey Van Horne and Christopher Bates. Bates was the grand finale on the runway, and host of a wrap party at King West institution, Brassai.

“This has been our best TOM* season yet,” said the week’s founder, Jeff Rustia. “The Fall/Winter 2016 collections were stunning and the calibre of the design and the product featured a great balance between the edgy and the commercial.”

Though Friday night was a chilly evening at the corner of Yonge and College, TOM* attracted an array of fashion fans in fetching but winter-appropriate gear. Long coats in a variety of colours, skins and furs were the cloaks of choice. Leave it to the guys to be comfortable and stylish at the same time.
