Opening Ceremony asked you to recreate some of your vintage designs for the Betsey Johnson Archive collection. How did you choose which pieces to reproduce?
“I decided that the ‘punk label’ clothes, from 1978 through about 1990, were my most favourite. The fabrics, the style—they look very, very forward.”
