Monochromatic schemes are very much in vogue, but don’t even think about white. “Go for all things regal and purple this season,” says HGTV host Sarah Richardson. “magenta, lavender, amethyst and aubergine all look fabulous together. Accent them with white or silver tones instead of gold.”
