There’s life after Vancouver duo Fan Death’s gorgeous flash-in-the-pan single “Veronica’s Veil,” which surfaced back in ’08. The nu-disco wave may be ebbing, but noirish dance-pop partners Dandilion Wind Opaine and Marta Jaciubek-McKeever shimmy on strong. Their heady February EP, A Coin For The Well (Last Gang Records), will be chased by the full-length Womb of Dreams in May. With influences like OMD and The Human League, it’s the re-rebirth of ’80s cool.
