Behind the Shoot: “Extra Extra”

“My main inspiration was to create an ambience that was very cinematic, using minimal props such as stairs and posing cubes to keep the focus on the shoes, leggings and accessories,” says photographer Miguel Jacob. “It was equally important to create an ambiguous narrative that is open to interpretation. Using very directional lighting at lower angles allowed me to create a very moody atmosphere while allowing interplay between light and shadows.”
