Put the lid on paint—artsy, interactive wall coverings are the modern way to roll.

Following a decade of monotone interiors and an obsession with neutrals, wallpaper has enjoyed a huge resurgence in the past few years. The antithesis of tame café-crème interiors, statement-making paper is supplanting paint treatments (and those horrid faux finishes), recladding—and reinvigorating—the world’s chicest rooms.
