Fashion Notes: Cozy karma

As if we needed an actual reason to treat ourselves to the soft stuff, but now we can covet our cashmere guilt-free with Uluru. This cute collection of Grade A cashmere and Italian merino wool knitwear ensures fair labour practices for all of its products. Ranging from $250 to $595, this luxury line won’t break the bank or your beliefs. At the 889 Yonge Lifestyle Boutique (889 Yonge St., 416-925-7126, 889yonge.com) and Holt Renfrew.

Fashion Notes: Fabulous facelift

Just in time for the holidays, Birks has unveiled its Destinee collection under the creative direction of Holly Brubach, renowned fashion journalist, author and jewellery genius. Drawing on the look of the original 1920s Birks logo, these posh sparklers (left, $1,850) boast graphic grids and spheres reminiscent of the Swinging ’60s. Groovy has never looked so glam.

Fashion Notes: Asha’s arrival

The latest baubles to grace the coveted cases at Augustina (5 Old York Lane, 416-922-4248) belong to New York label Asha by ADM (ashabyadm.com).
