About Natasha
I was born and raised in Saskatchewan. I received my sociology degree last year before I moved to New York City for a while. I love travelling, white wine, and red and green dino sours. I live with my kitty, Trooper, and work as an events assistant.

Who is your style icon and why?
I would have to go with Kate Hudson. She is a down-to-earth, natural beauty. She isn’t always done up in gowns, and still looks great in a T-shirt and jeans. But, of course, she looks fabulous done up red carpet-style. I think it’s important to look and feel great in regular clothes – who doesn’t like wearing a T-shirt and jeans?

What’s your favourite item in your closet?
It’s a close call between my burnt-orange, silk Armani tank top and my classic black stilettos.

What was your favourite childhood outfit?
Any outfit that I put together myself and my mom let me wear out.

What’s your worst outfit ever?
Ha ha. See above.

Name a current celeb whose style you admire and tell us why.
Sarah Jessica Parker. Not just because of all the glamour from Sex and the City, but because she seems to pull off everything she wears. I think that she can take something that most people would not necessarily like and accessorize it with something like a belt, hat or necklaces to transform it into a piece that many would view as trendy. I admire the way that she wears things – her style is confidence.

What’s a trend you hate?
There are not a lot of trends that I hate; however, I am not a fan of mixing solid red and pink pieces. They clash. It just doesn’t look good.

Why do you love the shopping/fashion scene in your town?
I believe that we are an up-and-coming city. I am very excited about all the new boutiques and independent stores that are opening in Saskatoon. All the fashionistas can start shopping like they are in the big city!
