Clothes Minded

I doubt designers had me in mind while dreaming up their bohemian inspired collections, but there has never been a better time to be pregnant.  I love being able to float through my pregnancy in gorgeous silk maxi dresses and caftans.  Beautiful frocks have made their way into stores across Edmonton, and from Etzio to Miss Sixty, everyone seems to have visions of Morocco dancing in their heads.  The same goes for this season’s ubiquitous platform and gladiator sandals (which allow me to maintain my style mantra of fashion and function).  I can show off my pedicure, chase my son around and continue to wear them, despite having swollen feet!  Goodbye maternity wear, hello stylish mama.  Dress by London Times at the Bay.  Shoes by BCBG at Lord’s Shoes (Southgate Shopping Centre, 111 St. and 51 Ave., 780-436-3966).
