According to Hipband (hipband.com), their mission is to rid the world of bulky excessive layers with colour. Hadija Gabunga’s accidental creation has become a little phenomenon with ladies of all ages in Calgary. The Hipbands, which come in two sizes (small/medium and medium/large) are a simple addition to an outfit for a layered look. They're simply slipped on and placed around the hip. Ladies, this little creation is also an alternative for going without a belt or for when high-waisted pants are just too high.
Hipbands come in geometric patterns and prints with plain colours on the reverse for an alternate look. A maternity line, headbands and high-waisted belts are also available. You can find Gabunga’s ultra-stylish booth at Sunridge Mall in Calgary, AB.
