Who is your style icon and why?
Audrey Hepburn. She is the reason I cannot live without poor boy sweaters and ballet flats!
What’s your favourite item in your closet?
A vintage Pucci skirt from my mother. I can wear it as a skirt or as an empire waist dress with a big chunky leather belt. Bellissima!
What was your favourite childhood outfit?
I loved wearing my ballet costumes everywhere. My tulle tutus and I were inseparable.
What’s your worst outfit ever?
Black tank top, black leggings and black motorcycle boots with a black shirt tied around my waist. A look best left to Olivia Newton John in Grease!
Name a current celeb whose style you admire and tell us why.
Definitely Milla Jovovich. She has an eclectic style that I find charming, original and refreshing. And unlike other starlets, you know she doesn't have to rely on a stylist.
What’s a trend you hate?
Dhoti pants. Anything that reminds me of MC Hammer is not a good thing.
Why do you love the shopping/fashion scene in your town?
Edmonton's fashion scene has exploded in recent years and continues to evolve on a daily basis. We have new stores opening up every month, and our local designers continue to provide us with amazing finds (Nokomis anyone?). But the thing I love the most is the intimacy of shopping here. Everyone involved in fashion knows and supports one another. You can almost always expect to be complimented by a fellow fashionista while navigating the shops in Edmonton!
