Today was the first of three engagements that Will and Kate will be making this week, and oh, are we ever off to a great start! (And because it was the first joint appearance the royal couple has made in more than three months, we’re going to consider this a one-year anniversary gift from them to all of us.)
Tonight’s event was the premiere of Disney’s African Cats documentary, which was held in part to benefit the prince’s Tusk Trust charity. And just like their last film premiere, Will held an umbrella for Kate as they walked the red carpet. As for the fashion, Kate again showed her love for the peplum with a dove-grey skirt and jacket from Matthew Williamson’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection. However, she made one small adjustment: according to reports, Middleton requested the addition of jeweled detailing around the neckline.
