Kate Middleton’s reported royal due date has come and gone with some rather sour headline news taking its place instead over the weekend. Not the outcome we were hoping for, but alas, the best seems yet to come!
While the Royals were awaiting the arrival of Baby Cambridge, they continued on with their otherwise scheduled engagements with an increased camera focus.
As we reported last Wednesday, Prince William and Prince Harry played two polo matches in Hampshire and Berkshire. The first, which was in support of African charities Tusk Trust and Sentebale, pit the two brothers against each other, with Prince Harry’s team coming out on top. The second raised ample funds for a bevy of English charities including Child Bereavement UK, which Kate also supports. During the game, Prince William was photographed interacting with an adorable little pink-hatted girl while sitting on a horse. And thus, our pleasant weekend heading was made.
While Kate Middleton stages her own wait-out at her parent’s eighteen acre home, a group of police cars have been seen outside at the ready to help transport the Duchess to the hospital at the moment the royal water breaks.
With the close proximity of Sunday’s match to Kate’s family home in Bucklebury, Will would have been able to make a quick exit. However, given that there was no helicopter on grounds, we’re lead to believe that Saturday might never have really been said due date at all!
Though we may be feeling a little duped, we remain unfailingly excited for the arrival of Baby Cambridge. Just give us Gatorade and some saltines and we’ll be here all month!
