Kate Middleton’s love for athletics is no secret (hello, Olympic celebrations and field hockey antics!) so it’s fitting that today’s outing—her first solo engagement since Prince George was born—was to a SportsAid workshop for young athletes, a charity of which Kate is patron to.

Held at an arena in London’s Olympic Park, Kate wore an outfit that was virtually identical to the last time she visited the venue during the 2012 games. Her navy Smythe blazer was the focal point of the casual ensemble, which included a Breton stripe Ralph Lauren shirt, J Brand skinny jeans and Stuart Weitzman wedges. Should you think that high heels would get in the way of the Duchess playing sports, you’d be quite mistaken. While Kate turned down an invitation to try fencing and badminton, telling the press, “I’d like to give it a go but I’ve brought the wrong shoes!” she was more than eager to get onto the volleyball court, wedge heels and all. Is there a better Friday gift than a video of Kate Middleton playing volleyball? We think not.
