On the final day of the Royal Tour, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge helped commemorate Anzac Day, Australia and New Zealand’s annual day of remembrance. First, at a early morning (dawn, to be exact) service and later during the commemorative ceremony, the two helped lay wreaths and place poppies on the wall of remembrance at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. Later in the day, they were off to Sydney, where they boarded a plane back to London four days shy of their third wedding anniversary.
For the morning service, Kate wore the Temperley London Noa coat she wore to last year’s Remembrance Day service in London. For the commemorative ceremony, Kate chose an indigo twill jacquard swing by Michael Kors—her first time ever wearing the American heavyweight. The dress is from the current Kors collection and had previously been worn similarly by fellow fashion plate Lupita Nyong’o. Double score, Mr. Kors! Keeping it local, Kate paired the dress with a navy hat by Aussie milliner Jonathan Howard, blue suede pumps by Alexander McQueen, her Russell and Bromley Muse clutch, Asprey charms and sapphire and diamond drop earrings. In keeping with tradition, Kate wore a spring of rosemary under a poppy broach given to her by he wife of Corporal Ben Roberts-Smith V.C.
As they waved goodbye with Prince George in tow, the trio made as smashing an exit as they did an entrance, colour matched in Brit-apropos blue, red and white. #Perfection.
