Putting another clever twist one of fashion’s (and FASHION’s) most-loved style stars, illustrator aleXsandro Palombo has just hit all the right notes with his latest work of art. Inspired by Kate Middleton’s (and the Queen’s!) iconic royal style, Palombo created an exclusive tour at Buckingham Palace with Simpsonized versions of the Duchess and the Queen. Known for his cheeky and colourful illustrations he incorporated all of our favourite looks, including Kate’s pastel-pink pleated Emilia Wickstead dress, her yellow and white colour blocked dress by Roksanda Ilincic, and of course no shortage of McQueen. Located around the Palace, at the Grande Staircase and in the Throne Room, these illustrations are as impressive as they are humorous and we just can’t take our eyes off of them. Hats off to Palombo, this is one side of Kate we never saw coming.
