Attention Torontonians: This Friday, September 26th, critically acclaimed artist Alexa Meade will be teaming up with Denim & Supply at the Hudson’s Bay Queen Street location. Featured right before your very eyes, in the display windows of the Bay located on Yonge and Richmond, Meade will be demonstrating her new and innovative art concept. Titled ‘Your Body is My Canvas’ Meade will (instead of painting on a canvas) paint over top of model bodies, turning real life people into two-dimensional objects.
Not only has she has conducted her very own TED talk, but she’s worked with an array of celebrities including singer-songwriter Gotye and has even been featured on Jay-Z’s Life & Times—pretty cool if you ask us.
