Queen Elizabeth II‘s 90th birthday is no joke. While the milestone birthday officially took place on April 21, this morning commences an entire weekend of pageantry and celebrations around Britain in honour of their longest serving monarch, which will include a traditional military parade on Saturday and a patron’s lunch street party on Sunday outside of Buckingham Palace.

The festivities began earlier today with a National Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral. While the entire Royal family was present for the momentous occasion, including Prince William and Prince Harry, it was the Duchess of Cambridge who stole the show (what else is new?). Kate turned heads in a periwinkle blue coatdress with white lace embellishments by Catherine Walker, topping her outfit with the same white Jane Taylor hat she wore to the Queen’s last garden party and Princess Charlotte’s christening.

It appears as though Kate Middleton is feeling blue this week—outfit wise that is. In addition to her blue coatdress, yesterday Kate wore a vibrant, cobalt Roland Mouret gown to SportsAid’s 40th anniversary gala dinner at Kensington Palace. She completed her look with a black Prada clutch and diamond hoop earrings by Cartier.

UPDATED: The Duchess of Cambridge wore an old, but certainly not tired, look for the Queen’s Birthday parade on Saturday. She was spotted wearing the same ivory Alexander McQueen coatdress she sported for Princess Charlotte’s christening last July. Kate updated the look with a Philip Treacy hat featuring a large, pale pink, carnation flower and large pearl earrings and her Mappin and Webb “Empress” pendant.

Kate also brought back blue for Sunday’s Patron’s Lunch. We can’t blame the Duchess as she certainly looks gorgeous in any iteration of the colour! For the lunch, Kate wore a fitted, colour blocked dress by Roksanda Ilincic in a dreamy pastel blue colour, with a large coral band showcasing her waist and smaller, light pink bands on her sides. The Duchess seems to have altered to dress from its off-the-rack design by installing a full-length zipper rather than the standard size zipper the design originally featured. She finished the colourful look with a nude LK Bennet clutch and matching heels.
