Judging by the hysterical screams that echoed through the streets of Toronto yesterday, we immediately knew that James Franco had arrived.

Franco, who hid his shaved head under a black beanie, arrived at TIFF 2014 yesterday to promote his latest film (which he directed and stars in), The Sound and the Fury, based on the adaptation on the William Faulker’s novel of the same name. While the trio of fine-looking men that makes up most of the cast (hello, Jacob Loeb and Scott Haze!), everyone was just as ecstatic to see Janet Jones Gretzky, who looked statuesque in a black floor-length gown, back on the film radar. Joined by her legendary husband Wayne Gretzky, the mother of five (five!) was excited to be back in Toronto to promote the film.

Making this his second film to debut at TIFF, the actor/director/flawless human looked pretty at ease the whole night. Franco was more than happy to see fans as he walked the red carpet (and feelings were mutual). After the premiere, the cast made their way over to Toronto’s Templar Hotel, where everyone partied it up till the wee hours of the night.
