If there’s one actress that can make anyone get a little star-struck, it’s Jennifer Aniston. Here for the second year in a row, the former Friends actress joined her co-stars Anna Kendrick and Sam Worthington (who’s already been here promoting their other projects) for TIFF 2014 festivities last night for her latest movie Cake. Playing a woman who struggles with her own trauma, it’s no surprise that Aniston’s performance is generating a lot of buzz (do we hear some Oscar rumours?).

While TIFF 2013 brought us Aniston in rare form, wearing a powder blue dress, the actress went back to her usual little black dress this year. Actually, a black Valentino top (braless, Rachel Greene style) paired with an Emanuel Ungaro mini skirt to be more precise. She kept her accessories in the same neutral, understated family (only a pop of colour via Christain Louboutin soles), but really, who needs accessories when you have Justin Theroux (can we get an amen)?

Black may have been the trend amongst the cast, but Anna Kendrick kept things light and youthful in a blush floral sleeveless dress by J. Mendel. Like Aniston’s monochrome look, Kendrick also stuck to the one colour palette by styling it with patent nude pumps, an Edie Parker box clutch and a pair of simple EF Collection earrings.
