The week in celebrity style: See who made our best-dressed list
If spring fever is on your mind as of late, you’re not the only one. This past week celebs were showing off their best features in sultry, but mind you, tasteful outfits. So if you’re lookingfor a little inspo in that department, look no further than our latest best-dressed list.
Showing off legs is a fail safe way to amp up the sex appeal in any outfit. Case in point: Beyoncé at last week’s all-star Tidal launch party. Rihanna may have showed up in a Dior skirt suit (sans bra), but all eyes were on Queen Bey who stepped out in leggy and performance-worthy ensemble (fishnets and all). Displaying the shoulders also makes for a strong case of flirtatious dressing. Michelle Rodriguez worked a little dark romance on the Furious 7 red carpet, courtesy of a Vivienne Westwood shoulder-baring gown, while Charlize Theron turned her usual LBD up to megawatt level at the premiere of Dark Places in a Dior couture lace and embroidered silk dress.
And while baring skin always screams sexy, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Enter Spring 2015’s hot trend: sheer, which has livened up red carpets all season. Kate Bosworth worked it subtly in Prabal Gurung, while Helen Mirren proved there’s no age limit when rocking sheer layers. But we’re handing it to new mother Ciara for wearing the spring trend best, thanks to her white hot sheer-panelled number at the Forward by Elyse Walker party for David Koma.
