MTV Movie Awards 2015: Our top 10 picks for best dressed on the red carpet
Last night’s MTV Movie Awards wrapped up a party-filled weekend with comedian and first time host Amy Schumer at the helm. Besides viewing exclusive trailers for summer’s sure-to-be box office hits, highlights of the night included the theatre being taken over by superheroes (think Fantastic Four and Avengers in one room), Robert Downey Jr. accepting his well-deserved Generation Award from his good-looking cast mates, Rebel Wilson apologizing for her behaviour on the Pitch Perfect 2 set in a Victoria’s Secret-inspired get-up and Miles Teller’s heartwarming speech when presenting the Trailblazer Award to a teary-eyed Shailene Woodley. Oh, and Channing Tatum gave us a little preview of what to expect in the upcoming Magic Mike XXL.
But before the actresses, models and singers headed into the theatre, the red carpet was ablaze with summer-ready looks, getting us antsy for warmer weather to stay for good. Sex appeal took the spotlight once again proving skin is going to be very much in this season. Cara Delevingne and Bella Thorne showed off legs in eye-catching mini dresses, while Jennifer Lopez and Emily Ratajkowski battled it out for the title for sexiest look of the night. Justifying that baring cleavage and legs in one ensemble can work some times (when done right, of course), J.Lo pulled off a sophisticated sexy look in a Versus Versace skirt suit, while Gone Girl actress, Ratajkowski, flaunted her assets in a Fausto Puglisi embellished mini ensemble.
