Four years after the first film, the final instalment of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is due to hit theatres on November 19 and the all-star cast has been busy promoting it over on the other side of the pond all week. With it being their last of the series, the actors and actresses are stepping out in the glitziest looks yet (see Julianne Moore and Elizabeth Banks for proof). But let’s be honest here, we’re giving most of our attention on the biggest star of the franchise: Jennifer Lawrence.
J-Law’s promo tours are always a Dior fest. Don’t get us wrong; we’re not complaining, especially when the Oscar-winning actress never fails to pull out only the best from each collection. In the addition to the four jaw-dropping Dior Haute Couture dresses she’s donned so far, we saw Lawrence flirting with a couple of other designer names at the film’s press conferences and cocktail receptions. Kicking off the tour with what seems to be the print-of-choice this time around, Lawrence opted for a fun, floral print Proenza Schouler dress for the Berlin press conference before she glammed it up in a stunning burgundy look later that evening.
Dolce & Gabbana was her second non-Dior designer of choice, and it was definitely a good one. For the Tim Palen: Photographs From The Hunger Games book launch reception in London, Lawrence turned up the heat in a sheer black floral-embroidered (seeing a theme here?) dress by the Italian duo. But it was her two most recent looks in Paris that really made us swoon. After rocking a leggy look at the photo call, The Hunger Games star switched gears for the evening premiere and glided onto the red carpet in an ethereal long-sleeved gown fit for a Greek goddess.
With six looks already in the bag and the China and U.S. legs of the tour still to come, you can bet we’re on the edge of our seat waiting to see what’s J-Law will wear next. Stay tuned.
