The week in celebrity style: See who made our top 10 best-dressed list
Last week’s #NationalNudeDay may or may not have inspired a few of the celebs to show a little more skin on the red carpet (the hot summer weather may have more to do with it, too). While the stars kept things on the more modest side in sheer and lace outfits, they nonetheless accomplished the goal of teasing us all with their semi-skin baring looks, as well as provided ideas when we’re in need to up our #ootd game.
Lace dresses are obviously the most effortless (and elegant) way to achieve the look (see Diane Kruger and Emma Roberts for inspo on how to do it right), but to top the charts and have us pinning (and re-pinning), it takes some skill. Case in point: Kendall Jenner at the launch of OUE Skyspace in Los Angeles. She’s hardly one to shy away from showing her assets on Instagram, but when it comes to public appearances, she knows how to work her look just enough to tease. At the event, the runway model may have worn the skimpiest black crop top, but she offset the sexy factor with high-waist flared bottoms (albeit sheer). And clearly, expectant mothers, too, can work the look (with caution). Take Blake Lively as an example. The actress arrived at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote her latest film Cafe Society in a bondage-inspired Emanuel Ungaro dress.
