In this bright and warm boutique spa with a feng shui vibe, aesthetician Leslie Ferranti chooses a lavender-based wax to remove fuzz. “It is less sticky and far more gentle” than honey wax, which she says can tear skin. Post-wax, she smoothes on a tea tree oil base and cream to pare down redness and prevent bacteria from invading pores.
