Swimwear
Louise Daoust’s boutique is an oasis of haute swimwear. All her styles are literally limited edition, since only six suits (sometimes fewer) are made in each size, and select styles come in 16-plus to 22. Spacious change rooms are kept at a cozy 26 degrees, and fresh towels are laid on the floor for each new customer. Best of all, Daoust says, “Employees are not allowed to say, ‘Oh, Madame, you look so good in this.’ I want to know how the customer feels when she is wearing my bathing suit. I want her to feel beautiful.”
