Walk into this lower-level Yorkville optical boutique, and owner Kassim Haji will immediately start proffering recommendations. You’d be wise to take them. In business for over 15 years and carrying more than 1,000 pieces, he’s aggressive in a good way, knowing when temples seem too exaggerated or if frames enclose more face than necessary. Of course, style is also crucial, and on this, Haji does not skimp. His standout collections include Alain Mikli, Gold & Wood, J.F. Rey and the oddly named Blinde. Fashion flunkies can get their fix with Marc Jacobs, Gucci and Tom Ford.
