While I have never been to (or heard of) Fairview, a small, northern Alberta town, former resident Clayton Evans is making sure the world knows about his line, Complex Geometries (complexgeometries.com). Launched in 2005 and now sold internationally, it’s available for the first time in Alberta at Nokomis (10318 82nd Ave. NW, Edmonton, 780-432-7462, nokomisclothing.ca). Ideal for summer travel, the pieces are versatile, light and easy to layer, the fabrics (such as crumpled silk) pack well, and the items made in coated material stay clean longer.
