Hush hush

With the holiday season fast approaching, your social calendar is bound to be as busy as the Holt Renfrew Boxing Day sale. Now is the time to commence Operation Party Dress—without spending all your pennies. Enter Hush Couture (hushcouture.ca), the new (and only) designer-dress-rental company in Canada. Partners-in-couture-crime Yael Panet and Jennifer Koffman offer a wide range of classic and trendy designer pieces (think Valentino, and Elizabeth and James) that are just a mouse-click away. “Clients pick outfits that suit their individual style, and they leave behind the agony of deciding whether to wear an old outfit or spend too much money buying a new one,” explains Panet. Now that’s what I call thinking outside of the closet.
