There’s nothing quite like talking to a mega-designer on Skype, but that’s exactly what I did recently at the Liz Claiborne store in West Van (Park Royal South, 604-913-0687, lizclaiborne.com). The bubbly and energetic Isaac Mizrahi’s holiday picks from his second collection for the revitalized brand include coloured jeans, cashmere sweaters and metallic accessories. Voilà! Not only do these “From Isaac with Love” clutches ($40 each) add a pop of colour to any LBD, they make perfect stocking stuffers.
