Life lesson 1: Never mix business with pleasure. But Brunswick + Co. designers (and friends of 20 years) Alison Booth and Alison Lovell are rewriting the rulebook with their debut handbag collection, available exclusively at Augustina (138 Cumberland St., Old York Lane, 416-922-4248, augustinaboutiques.com). Booth, a former Gap accessories designer, and Lovell, a former gallery curator, drew on their fashionable backgrounds to create a chic lineup of bags including the hobo ($450) and the day clutch ($325). Something tells us these designer friends are a match made in retail heaven.
