Vancouver shops: September notes
Rebecca Tay falls for Joe and meets two Vancouver designers with a New York connection.
Do the jig
Not many people know that the popular label LaRok was founded in 2004 by Cary Vaughan and Vancouverite Jenna Wilson. This season, the Brooklyn-based duo have launched Ace & Jig (aceandjig.com), a collection made entirely from yarn-dyed cotton linen, which they developed with a weaver in India. We want every single piece (no joke) to make the upcoming weather change more bearable, and we’re betting this brand will soon be as big as the girls’ other project.
