Just a hop and a skip from Pacific Boarder is this Kitsilano store, which originated in Calgary in 1979 but moved its operations to Vancouver in 1986. It’s the spot to find everything from teeny-weeny bikinis to functional but still feminine board shorts. Don’t be afraid to try a suit by Australian label Insight (the cut-out detailing often looks more strange than appealing on a hanger, but translates well on-figure). Its two collections for summer, Confetti Wonderland and Emerald City, feature bright, loud prints and are meant to be mixed and matched for a one-of-a-kind effect.
