Fresh from dancing to music in the desert, Coachella regulars (Kate Bosworth, Poppy Delevingne and Emmy Rossum to name a few) switched out of their festival wear and glammed it up in Los Angeles at the launch party for Jimmy Choo’s new CHOO.08 brand. Hosted by the creative director Sandra Choi, the glam event had Solange Knowles working the DJ booth and a very enviable guest list, to boot. Mad Men leading ladies January Jones and Christina Hendricks both made an appearance, but it was young star Kiernan Shipka who led the pack, sartorially speaking, in a pretty spring dress.

Elsewhere in red carpet land, some of our favourite stars have been busy promoting films all over the world. Emma Stone—whose amazing hair we documented earlier this week—is currently wearing glam dress after glam dress in Europe with IRL beau Andrew Garfield to promote The Amazing Spider-Man 2. And down under, the royals aren’t the only ones getting attention: Kate Upton, Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann are all making waves while promoting The Other Woman in Sydney. Read more »

When Diane Von Furstenberg hit the scene back in the ’70s, her wrap dress was the most significant piece in any working woman’s wardrobe. “Feel like a woman, wear a dress,” she often said. What she really meant was “Feel like a woman, while calling the shots like a man.” How fitting it is to see history’s most “real world” Royal sporting one of those iconic dresses today. And digging earth at that!

Earlier today, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Australia’s Blue Mountains. The rugged natural region is a hotspot for adventure-seekers and brushfires alike, the latter of which damaged over 200 properties in the area last year. Arriving by helicopter (Kate’s hair was in a pony for the ride, just FYI), the ever-dutiful couple met with brushfire victims and first responders as well as some adorable Girl Guides who opted to say “princess” instead of “cheese” for their Kate Middleton photo op. The couple also partook in a tree planting ceremony where Kate put that DVF to good use, as she dug some space for the red eucalyptus planted to commemorate last year’s damage.

Sorry, we’ve been staring at Prince George’s chunky little legs all morning. Even Kate Middleton called him a “very podgy baby” this week (a posh way of saying pudgy, really) and who are we to disagree? That kid has adorable on lock! Which is probably why yesterday the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their last day in New Zealand away from the public, doing their own thing with Baby George. However, today the royal tour is back on, and with it, two new looks from Kate Middleton. Read more »

From a surprise Beyoncé performance to the announcement of Alexander Wang x H&M, the first instalment of Coachella 2014 was probably the most major on record. Got FOMO? Us too.

And while the stage may have been full of surprises, what we saw on the fields was pretty much in line with what we’ve been seeing since music festival style became a thing: fringe, feathers and flower crowns. This year, the candy coloured hair trend made a nice accent, with our favourite festivalgoer pictured in a shark-print bathing suit and turquoise hair to match. Also spotted was an inside lip Coachella tattoo. Now that’s commitment.

It was a very busy weekend for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge—but busy is always welcome for those of us obsessed with the royals, especially when you consider that Kate Middleton had 5 outfit changes! We have photos of every single look in our massive Kate Middleton style gallery, but here’s a rundown of what the royals got up to in New Zealand.

On Saturday, the Cambridges went to Cambridge! The couple toured the town and met with locals who lined the streets. Kate debuted a new coat by Erdem—a bright green, knee-length coat with front zip from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. She paired it with a floral print tea dress by Suzannah, though only the hemline was visible. Knowing Kate, we’ll likely see this dress in full at some point in the future. Since when doesn’t she wear an item more than once? Read more »

Whether you live for the glamour of red carpet galas or are obsessed with how stars dress when they’re off duty and street stylin’ it up, this past weekend has you covered. Things started off with a sartorial bang at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book gala in New York City. Jessica Biel and Katie Holmes were amongst the notable guests, and both dressed in black and white. But it was Kate Bosworth, in a pink silk Katie Ermilio dress, who stole the style show that night before jet setting to the golden coast to join Emmy Rossum at the Alexander Wang and H&M Coachella party. See our MTV Movie Awards 2014 red carpet picks »

Last night’s MTV Movie Awards was full of shirtless, star-studded surprises. It’s typically one of the most fun shows to watch if you’re into celebrity cameos (last night’s opener had a record 50), F-bombs and zygotes and last night was no different, offering a veritable poo poo platter of all of the above. Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton, Leslie Mann and Nicki Minaj brought the sexy while presenting the awards for best male lead to Josh Hucherson, Zac Efron lost his shirt and Jared Leto made another real talk acceptance speech. Johnny Depp was there too, showing up to preside over the event by presenting the award for best film to the Jennifer Lawrence-less cast of Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

On the red carpet, there were a variety of dressed up and casual looks, ranging from Rihanna’s head to toe lingerie look by Ulyana Sergeenko to Lupita Nyong’o’s kaleidoscopic Spring 2014 Chanel dress.

See our 8 favourites from the red carpet and vote for your pick in our poll!

Massive Party 2014: 35 photos from inside the AGO’s poptastic anniversary bash

As we predicted, last night’s tenth annual Massive Party at the Art Gallery of Ontario was sexy, stylish and the perfect start to spring party season. Sprawling much of the gallery’s 480,000 square foot space, it was one big ole Warholian ode to modern day pop art complete with larger than life dice, donuts and ironic hashtag banners. Guests were encouraged to bring their sartorial best, and awarded as such by a troika of hipster Joan Rivers who flashed everyone 10s as they entered past the red carpet.

Further inside, we were treated to a performance by the permanently moto jacket-clad Joseph of Mercury, who swapped his signature white mid-performance for a gold version designed by stylist Sarah Jay. Also in gold was The Collections’ Mel Ashcroft, who wore a lamé vest designed by Toronto designer Sid Neigum. And while many went wedding apropos (go big or go home, we s’pose), others kept it streetwise in X-ray imprinted fingerless gloves that were given out by scantily clad cigarette boys. A surrealistic post script: Mayoral candidate John Tory was there.
