Kate Middleton and Alexander McQueen really are a match made in style heaven. The Duchess of Cambridge showed her love for the label again today during a visit to England’s Bletchley Park. She looked radiant in a white double-breasted blouse and navy skirt from McQueen’s Pre-Fall 2011 collection. Both pieces feature gold fastenings, the skirt with gold anchor-embossed button embellishments. A repeat outfit from 2011, Kate proves once again that she has the military-chic look down to a T.

Her visit marked the completion of a yearlong, £8 million restoration project returning the heritage and education site to its former World War II appearance. A project significant to the Duchess as her grandmother Valerie Glassborow managed the interception of enemy signals during the war at Bletchley. Valerie and her twin sister Mary worked as duty officers in the Cover Management Y section in 1944. Kate met with code breakers who worked with her grandmother and tried intercepting and decoding a Morse code message herself, donning a pair of headphones and using a replica radio. Too cool.

It was quite the Kate Middleton-filled weekend with our favourite royal making three official appearances donning some things old, some things new and some things blue.

In honour of Queen Elizabeth II, the royal family paraded down the streets of London for the Trooping The Colour, The Queen’s annual birthday celebrating complete with 1,400 officers, 200 horses and 400 hundred musicians. While Prince William and Prince Charles rode on horseback, the Duchess of Cambridge accompanied Prince Harry and The Duchess of Cornwall in a horse-drawn carriage waving at crowds of onlookers. Stepping out in a second new outfit of the week, Kate once again opted for Alexander McQueen (it’s her third time wearing the British designer brand at the annual event), looking elegant as ever. Dressed in a bespoke icy blue skirt suit, which featured an embroidered crop jacket, the structured peplum detail stylishly accentuated her slight body. Matching accordingly with a Jane Taylor hat, she added pearl jewellery that including a never-before-seen pearl brooch and pearl-dropped earrings by Annoushka, and finished off with a simple taupe box clutch by Alexander McQueen. Kate Middleton hits back-to-back events in Jaeger and Alexander McQueen

You know it’s a good week when Kate Middleton has back-to-back official appearances in one day.

Earlier this morning, Kate attended a private breakfast reception at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich to support Britain’s road to winning the oldest sailing competition, America’s Cup, which is led by four-time Olympic champion, Sir Ben Ainslie. In hopes of raising enough money to build a more advanced ship (we hear a whopping £100 million is needed), the Duchess of Cambridge was invited to help raise awareness. And knowing how big of a fan she is of sailing, we bet Kate was more than happy to support the cause. We just hope the topic of Kate beating Prince William at a friendly race during their Australian tour was brought up for a good laugh.

In tune with the day’s event, Kate posed with the America Cup (which travelled in a fancy Louis Vuitton trunk) in a never-before-seen, short-sleeved white dress that features navy blue trimming by Jaeger. (FYI if you’re planning on snatching up the nautical-themed dress for your ever-growing Kate Middleton-inspired wardrobe, chances are, you’re going to have to wait, according to the contemporary British brand’s twitter platform.) As for the rest of her outfit, Kate matched accordingly. While she carried a navy blue suede clutch by Russell & Bromley, she completed her look with suede Alexander McQueen pumps, sapphire and diamond earrings, an Aprey gold charm pendant necklace and a classic Cartier watch. Kate Middleton commemorates D-Day in a favourite Alexander McQueen look

For the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined The Queen and other royal family members in Arromanches Les Bains in France, last Friday to commemorate the historic Western Allies entrance into World War II. After the ceremony, the royal duo had a meet-cute moment with 50 veterans at a tea party before they finished the day off with a historic tour at the Musée de Débarquement.

Making sure she stood out just enough without taking the spotlight, Kate Middleton opted for a repeat outfit. And when it comes to recycling clothes, no one reworks an old outfit quite like Kate (or a fancy hat for that matter). If you’re having trouble placing where she wore this cornflower-blue coat last, here’s the scoop: The Duchess of Cambridge previously donned the custom designed Alexander McQueen (which is surprisingly still available) during her tour Down Under back in April when visiting New Zealand’s Blenheim War Memorial. Working a completely different outfit, thanks to her accessories, the Duchess switched things up with black accents, including a fascinator by Lock & Co, which we had last seen on her at the christening of the Royal Princess cruise ship. She topped off her ensemble with black suede pumps, a sleek leather Mulberry clutch and sapphire and diamond earrings to match her coat.

Summer may not be officially here, but celebs sure dressed the part this past weekend at the seventh annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in sunny New Jersey. Wearing seasonal-appropriate ensembles, A-list stars, models and fashion’s elite enjoyed each other’s company watching the polo match from the sidelines (with Behati Prinsloo throwing out the ceremonial ball toss) and toasting their vintage Rosé to the city skyline.

Some of the stars like Olivia Munn and Leigh Lezark wore little white numbers to help beat the heat, but our eyes were drawn (naturally) to Lupita Nyong’o who worked her usual understated glamour in a statement black and white patterned dress. Two other guests also stuck to the popular black and white dress code. Fifty Shades of Grey’s star Dakota Johnson donned a simple sundress and matching accessories, while Julia Restoin-Roitfeld looked ultra chic in a Dolce & Gabbana outfit with pops of colour in the accessories department. Some viewers were interested in who was taking home the top music prizes of the night, but we were more excited for the pre-show red carpet, as always.

Jennifer Lopez tops our list, flaunting her toned legs in a red sheer Donna Karan gown that gave us major JLo circa 2000 Grammys vibes. Doing the same shade justice, Iggy Azalea went uncharacteristically conservative in an elegant Zuhair Murad gown and subtle makeup.
